Az angol kérdések gyakorlásakor a kérdőszavak, a kérdő szórend, a létige és a segédigék használata egyaránt fontos. Az alábbi 100 kérdés és válasz mindennapi témákat dolgoz fel: bemutatkozást, lakóhelyet, családot, munkát, időbeosztást, kedvenceket, múltbeli eseményeket és szokásokat.
A kérdések között találhatók igen-nem kérdések és kérdőszavas kérdések is. Az yes-no, azaz igen-nem kérdésre a válasz igen vagy nem, míg a WH-questions kérdőszót tartalmaznak, ezért ezekre legalább egy szóval, de leginkább teljes mondattal kell válaszolni.
Az angol kérdések alapjai
Az angol nyelvben a kérdéseket nemcsak a hangsúly és az írásjel különbözteti meg a kijelentő mondatoktól, hanem a szórend is. Ha angolul szeretnél egy kérdést feltenni, kérdő szórendet kell használnod.
Kétfajta kérdéstípus létezik: YES-NO QUESTIONS és WH-QUESTIONS. Az yes-no kérdéseknél nincs kérdőszó, a kérdő mondatot a kérdő szórend jelzi.
Statement: You are hungry. Kijelentés: Éhes vagy. Question: Are you hungry? Kérdés: Éhes vagy?
Létezik tagadó yes-no kérdés is: Aren’t you hungry? - Nem vagy éhes? A tagadó kérdéseket akkor szoktuk használni, amikor a válaszadótól pozitív, azaz igenlő választ várunk.
A WH-questions kérdőszót tartalmazó kérdések. A kérdőszavak közé tartozik a who, whom, what, where, when, which, why, whose és how.

A whether szó szintén WH-betűkkel kezdődik, de nem kérdőszóként működik, hanem többek között függő kérdést vezethet be.

Minden WH-szó bevezethet függő kérdést, és a whether is használható ilyen szerkezetben. A függő kérdésekben nem a közvetlen kérdés kérdő szórendjét használjuk.
