Human relations means the relationships between people, for example friendship, family relationships, relationships between fellow students and colleagues, and partner relationships. These relationships are important because people need company, support, understanding and someone they can share their experiences with.
Friendship is very important in my life because my friends are my second family. I have lots of friends: one of them was my classmate at primary school, some of them were my classmates at secondary school, one of them was my colleague at my first workplace and the majority is known by my husband for 6 years.
Friendship
I think these friendships are the strongest because adults take their friends more seriously especially they have children. We meet at weekends to play the children together and sometimes - especially on birthdays and namedays - we go to pubs to talk each other and to celebrate.
Good friends can rely on one another, spend time together and discuss both joyful and difficult experiences. Shared experiences often make relationships stronger, while regular communication helps people keep in touch even when they are busy.
Friendship can develop in different places and stages of life. Some people become friends at primary or secondary school, others meet at work, and many friendships are created through mutual acquaintances.
Fellow students and colleagues
Fellow students and colleagues are also important because people spend a great deal of time together at school or at the workplace. They can help one another, share information and cooperate when they have a common task.
One of my friends was my colleague at my first workplace. Workplace relationships can become real friendships if people respect each other, communicate openly and support one another.
However, not every fellow student or colleague becomes a close friend. Some relationships remain polite and practical, while others become more personal over time.
Partner relationships
Partner relationships are important too. I keep in touch with my ex-lovers nowadays we’re friends. We meet rarely but we often call each other and we talk about our present-days.
Although we couldn’t agree together, nowadays we can talk about everything. It’s very interesting!
A successful partner relationship requires trust, honesty, patience and mutual respect. Partners should be able to talk about their feelings, solve conflicts and accept that they may have different opinions.
Family and social life
Family is usually one of the most important sources of emotional support. People often celebrate birthdays, namedays and other special occasions with their relatives and friends.
We meet at weekends to play the children together and sometimes - especially on birthdays and namedays - we go to pubs to talk each other and to celebrate. Family gatherings and celebrations give people an opportunity to spend quality time together.
In modern society, people can maintain relationships in several ways. They can meet personally, phone each other or communicate online, but personal meetings are still important because they allow people to spend real time together.
People and society
Hungary has a population of about 10 million people can work in different fields of economy, e.g. in agriculture, industries, services, education, health care, the commercial sector, etc. unfortunately, unemployment is quite high, especially int he Northern and Eastern parts of Hungary, where a lot of people live below the poverty line
a lot of people get a job abroad because the salaries are higher, the standard of living is higher and there is a free flow of workforce int he EU it is especially difficult for young people to find a job as they have little or no work experience
a lot of people are made redundant because of the recession and the machines that are replacing people in each fields of economy young people have to use their initiative and creativity in order to succeed and many of them become entrepreneurs
the population is ag(e)ing, there are more and more pensioners and fewer working people this is a problem because working people pay taxes and contributions, which finance the pension system, education, health care, etc.
Society and democracy
Hungary has been a parliamentary democracy since 1989, when the change of regime took place there are parliamentary elections every four years, when people over 18 can vote for left-wing and right-wing parties
the winning party forms the government, which is often a coalition government the Prime Minister is appointed by the President
A society consists of people with different backgrounds, opinions, lifestyles and opportunities. Respect for others is important in everyday communication, education, employment and public life.
