I live in a small town near Budapest. It is quiet. I like it! There are hills and mountains around the city. The houses in our street are small and old. On our town there are four schools. There is also a sports centre with a swimming pool. Our school is just opposite the sports centre. The supermarket is between a clothes shop and a newsagent’s. These are not expensive shops. The church is in the town center. Opposite the church there is a small italian restaurant and a bank. Next to the restaurant there is an interesting shop with creative gift ideas. It is not cheap but exciting!

I live in a two-storey detached house. There are some trees in front of our house. There is a small garden with a wooden fence behind the house. It’s a renovated house, but we always have some work with it! On the roof we have got a skylight. In the house we have got central heating.

Now I would like to say a few things about our garden. There is a spacious lawn where I can lie on a blanket when the weather is good. We grow vegetables in the garden, and also we have a small orchard so there is always fresh fruit on the table. There is a separate barbecue place in the back of the garden, so me and my parents often have people over for little parties.

This a detached house and it is situated / located in the suburbs of Debrecen. My neighbourhood is mainly built up by detached and semi-detached houses, and you can find parks, bushes and a lot of trees in the area. If you enter my house, you will see a little hall, where you can leave your coats and shoes. The next room is the living room, where people hang out, watch TV and talk for long hours. My parents' bedroom, the kitchen and one of the two bathrooms open from the living room, and also there is a little staircase which leads up to the top floor.

This is a relatively large, square-shaped room. When you enter it, the first thing you notice is that the walls are painted purple, as that is my favourite colour. There is a huge window as I need a lot of light to stay happy and positive. You can find a desk under the window, and by the way, the window overlooks the whole neighbourhood. I have a double bed, which is in the corner in front of the window. There is a large wardrobe for all my clothes, and there are loads of posters and pictures on the wall. The best thing about my room is that I has a spacious balcony, where I like to sit and read, or talk to my friends.

Finally, I like this house and I especially like my room. It is a great place no matter how much time you have to spend there. Maybe the only problem is its size: we have to do a lot of housework as it takes a long time to clean and maintain such a huge house, and when we finish one thing, we can just start another one.

It’s in the suburbs, so I have to travel a lot to go to work, and sometimes it is very dangerous to walk home alone on the streets at night in our neighbourhood.
